Attached is a sketch of the detailed stacked wall. I have Duke’s handbook on shoreline stabilization guidelines and have read and understood the requirements for water quality certification no. 3898. It has been and will continue to be my practice to stabilize the shoreline according to Army Corps and Duke Energy standards, as well as complying with any other state or federal agencies involved. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on hold until all of the following items are addressed: 1.Please provide a typical/detail of the dry stacked boulder wall. The Division recommends the use of Duke Energy Shoreline Management Guidelines for reference. I have attached an example to help guide you. Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(c), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received by February 4, 2017, the Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application package and the appropriate fee.
