THE SPANS ARE 1@ 15'9" AND 1@16'4". THE RECOMMENDED STRUCTURE IS 1@70' - Quality Impacts) 24CS WITH 4' DEEP CAPS. NO DECK DRAINS ARE REQUIRED ON THIS BRIDGE. THE EXISTING VERTICAL ABUTMENTS AND THE PIER IN THE STREAM WILL BE REMOVED. THE BANK SLOPES WILL BE LAIED BACK A T A 1.5:1 SLOPE AND STABILIZED WITH CLASS II RIP RAP. THIS PROJECT HAS A STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM COLLECTING THE BRIDGE DISCHARGE WHICH WILL BE DISSIPATED BY A RIP RAP PAD AT THE PIPE OUTLETS LOCATED AT THE TOE OF FILL. ROADWAY DRAINAGE SHEET FLOWS OVER GRASS SLOPES. CLASS II RIP RAP BANK STABILIZATION WAS ADDED SOUTH OF THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE TO PROTECT THE BANKS FROM THE PROPOSED DITCH. Existing ditch/swale outlet ditches and outfalls in NW, NE and SE quads will be maintained. NW and NE quad ditches will outlet prior to buffers in stable outfalls. In SE quad approaching ditch is stable and will be maintained but new ditch w/ Class I rip rap will be provided at steep transition to stream channel to stabilize.
