No new walls are proposed. Just tuck pointing/repairs to existing. 3. The water level for Lake Lure has been dropped for the winter and should return to normal in February. The work is to commence once the permits are received and completed before the water level returns to normal. I got copies of this permit to the local office of the U.S. Corp of Engineers yesterday. I need to know the square footage of disturbance for this area. 134.77’ x ? 2.Can you confirm that no new sea walls are being proposed? Only repairs on the existing seawall? 3.Please explain how the permittee will meet condition 8 of the water quality certification which states “ if concrete is used during construction, then all necessary measures shall be taken to prevent direct contact between uncured or curing concrete and waters of the state. Water that inadvertently contacts uncured concrete shall not be discharged to waters of the state due to the potential for elevated PH and possible aquatic life/fish kills.” 1 Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
