NCDOT TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING
FOR THE PROPOSED REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE NO. 273 OVER BIG HORSE CREEK ON
TEABERRY ROAD (S.R. 1347) tN ASHE COUNTY
TIP NO. B-4016
The N.C. Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting in January regarding the
proposed project to replace Bridge No. 273 over Big Horse Creek on Teaberry Road (S.R. 1347)
in Lansing, Ashe County. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 10th from 4 p.m. to 7
p.m. at Lansing Town Hall located at 173 B Street in Lansing.
The purpose of the public meeting will be to present information on the project and gather
public input on the proposed designs.
Interested citizens may attend at any time during the above mentioned hours. NCDOT
representatives will be available to answer questions and listen to comments regarding the
project. The opportunity to submit written comments will also be provided at the meeting or
via phone, email or mail by January 25, 2017. Comments received will be taken into
consideration as the project develops. Please note that no formal presentation will be made.
