Please note the following changes and revisions: 1. Removed drop inlets that were previously shown inline with the 36" RCP. Added two 15" RCP's to transfer storm water under the required sidewalk and into the shoulder ditches. Revised storm chart and ditch reinforcement chart. 2. Added overall site plan at 1/100 scale showing entirety of Phase 3. 3. Revised 11X17s to better show temporary and permanent impact lengths. Added 11X17 showing hatched areas for permanent vs. temporary impacts. 4. Added rip-rap reinforcement in shoulder ditches. Rip-Rap stops just outside stream buffer Zone 2. I have been told to divert the ditches to discharge outside of Zone 2 of the buffer, so I am redrawing the ditches. From what I have read I need to use a 1 in/hr storm to determine whether there is a diffuse flow requirement, and determine whether I need a level spreader of some kind. Based on my small drainage areas and the 1 in/hr storm criteria, I have 0.34 cfs entering the buffer from the west and 0.23 cfs entering from the east. It looks to me like there is no diffuse flow requirement based on the low flow rate, so I can simply discharge the ditches outside of buffer Zone 2, but I will flatten the ditch at that point as much as possible. The Jordan buffer rules state: The buffer rules (and diffuse flow plan) are delegated to the local government to implement. Can you tell me whether this project has already been submitted to the local government for buffer impacts and diffuse flow plan. Based on the plans that I have, it appears that this project will be constructing a roadside ditch through the buffer which would not meet the Jordan Buffer Rules. Sediment fencing shall be Installed below disturbed areas and adjusted if necessary to prevent silt migration into the stream. Gare Hill be taken to keep clearing and excavation of the stream banks and bed to a minimum. Upon completion of crossing, fill, compact, and stabilize the slopes properly. Any disturbed stream bank areas not stabilized by riparian mix seeding. IF NOT ABLE TO INSTALL GROSSING IN THE DRY: Then they must be installed Hith the use of Coffer/Sand bag Dams. The dams HIII be installed around the culvert installations to facilitate pipe construction. Pumps shall be used to keep the work area as dry as possible. After the pipe are Installed, properly compacted select fill can be brought up to subgrade. Erosion control shall be maintained throughout the culvert Installation process. Check silt fencing and outlets on a regular basis during construction. Relocate, relnstall, and/or repair erosion control measures as needed to prevent silt migration. Install permanent rip-rap/filter fabric toe protection as shown. All other disturbed areas shall be stabilized by seeding Hith rolled erosion control matting. Seed and mat the slopes above the top of bank Hith erosion control matting as soon as permanent grade has been established. FolloH the seeding timeframe requirements stated on the erosion control plan. The culvert construction should be completed Hithin two weeks. Any material that need to be stockpiled near the stream banks Hill be protected by silt fencing. Sand bag dams shall be removed Hithin 2 days after the culvert has been stabilized.
