NCSR 1718 (Deal Mill Road)
DWQ Project No. 070583
TIP No. B-3126
Caldwell County
Dear Mr. Pettyjohn:
On March 19, 2008, I visually inspected the construction work on NCSR 1718 (Deal Mill Road) in Caldwell
County. The project appeared to be in good shape. Construction work is progressing with continued work on
the new bridge. The erosion and sedimentation control structures, vegetative covering, mulching and matting
appear to be working properly. The stream relocation appears to be stable and functioning properly at this
time.
Please continue to ensure that all sediment and erosion control structures are maintained and that seeding and
mulching are performed as needed to protect downstream waters. A copy of the inspection report is attached
to this letter.
If you have questions, please call me at 828-296-4500.
Sincerely,
Michael R. Parker
