Re.: Storm Water Discharge Outfall Monitoring — Permit COC #1 ®8®�
As required, I am enclosing two copies of our August storm water samples lab reports. The sample
shows that there is a marked improvement from last month's sample. Even though we are still above our
_ permit limit the trend is in the right direction. Hyster-Yale has had an increased focus on housekeeping
and will continue to make adjustments as needed. I also reached out to Ron Pridgeon from NCDENR to
discuss our plan of action and determine if there are other actions that we can implement at this time. He
felt we should monitor our test results and that our actions should result in a decrease in our Zinc levels.
All other parameters were within the benchmark range.
Please let me know if I there are any additional considerations that must be made.
