NOTICE OF A CITIZENS INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR THE
PROPOSED WIDENING OF NC 33 FROM US 264 BYPASS IN GREENVILLE
TO US 64 SOUTHEAST OF TARBORO
TIP Project No. R-3407
Edgecombe and Pitt Counties
The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will hold the
above Citizens Informational Workshop on Thursday, June 5, 2008, between the
hours of 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM in the Belvoir Elementary School Media Center,
2568 NC 33 West, Greenville, 27834.
Interested individuals may attend this informal workshop at their
convenience during the above stated hours. The workshop is a follow-up
workshop to present additional alternatives that have been developed since the
last workshop. Widening alternatives shown at the last workshop will also be
shown. NCDOT representatives will be present to answer questions and receive
comments from the public about this project.
This project proposes to widen NC 33 from the US 264 Bypass in
Greenville to US 64 southeast of Tarboro. NC 33 will be widened to a four lane
facility.
