LaClair Environmental, Health &Safety Manager (336) 503-6538 (office) (336) 503-6562 (fax) dustinlaclair(a eaton.com • October 6, 2016 RECEIVED Division of Water Quality OCT 2 4 2Uib 1617 Mail Service Center Raleigh, North Carolina 27699-1617 CENTRAL FILES DWR SECTION Attn DWQ Central Files RE: September 2016 Monthly Tier Ill Discharge Monitoring Report Attached are the analytical results and associated chain of custody for the September 19, 2016 monthly Tier III stormwater outfall sampling event, submitted in accordance with Section D of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit No. NCG030000 and Certificate of Coverage Nei._erga.f-mck issued to our facility Additionally, attached is the applicable Discharge Monitoring Report(DMR) Form provided by the North Carolina Division of Water Quality(NCDWQ) In accordance with Section E, 10 of our stormwater permit, Eaton Roxboro is notifying the NCDWQ that our facility did not conduct monthly stormwater sampling of the Tool Room Trench (005) outfall in July or August 2016, as was required by Tier III response actions The frequent, often daily, afternoon thunderstorms our area experienced during these months did not produce a large amount of qualify rainfall events that were preceded by 72-hours with no other qualifying event Any other qualifying rainfall events at our facility during these months occurred outside of normal hours and qualified personnel were not on-site to collect samples.
