Dear Mr. Bailey and Mr. Wanucha, Ecosystem Planning and Restoration (EPR) has performed stream and wetland delineations at five low impact bridges sites in Guilford and Alamance Counties, NC for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). NCDOT proposes to replace these bridges. Information for each site, including a brief site description is attached. The five sites are: Guilford County • B-4958: Bridge no. 106 over Reedy Fork Creek on SR 2128 (Bunch Rd.) • B-5715: Bridge no. 17 over the Haw River on SR 2351 (Witty Rd.; Guilford/Rockingham county line) . B-5726: Bridge no. 135 over Squirrel Creek on SR 1001 (N. Church St.) B-5731: Bridge no. 112 over the Haw River on SR 2109 (Eversfield Rd.) Alamance County • B-5735: Bridge no. 307 over Back Creek on SR 1936 (Stone St. Extension) This letter serves as a formal request for a Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination for each site.
