On sheets 2 of 8, 3 of 8, 4 of 8 and 5 of 8, it is very difficult to see the different types of impacts (they all look the same and the letters do not show up). Can they do something different (color, hatch or reverse diagonal lines for each of the different impacts)? 2. Will putting in the pipe widen the stream channel (inlet and outlet details on sheet 2 of 8)? 3. It is difficult to see if there will be a"bench" on the inlet or on the outlet side of the pipes to keep the thalweg centered to the middle pipe, but it looks (from the inset of inlet and outlet detail) that you may not be excavating beyond the pipe, hence leaving the natural elevation as a bench. Is that correct? 4. On drawing 7 of 8, at the location of the pipe it shows that it will be buried the required foot. But is it a foot below the natural grade of the stream bed? There looks to be a scour hole or divot on the upstream side of the pipe which shows a mounding feature on the inside of the pipe. Where the arrow points to BED seems to be the natural grade of the stream, so shouldn't it be a foot below that? 5. Is the proposed temporary impacts actually fill or mechanized clearing? If it is fill, what is it exactly? 6. If the temporary impacts are mechanized clearing, is the hand clearing area necessary? If not, please remove it and correct the impacts sheet. 7. I do not understand the rip rap feature along the stream (shown as a single line along the stream). Is it for the toe of slope or bench? Does it connect to the slope protection? And I am assuming that it is the impact. 8. Please provide a cross section of the fill area perpendicular to SR1005 (for both sides of the road) so we can see how the slopes will be stabilized adjacent to the wetlands. 9. The amounts that you entered for the wetland impacts #2 are written as less than 0.01 ac for the permanent, temporary fill and hand clearing impacts. Can you give me the actual amounts (either in sq ft or acreage) so that I can accurately depict the impacts proposed/permitted in the 401. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
