Follow up
Completed
We have revised the PCN for 17BP.10.R.60 to reflect the addition of flood plain benches. The impacts were increased
from 52 linear feet to 80 linear feet as a result. I also have a request into the NCEEP for mitigation coverage.
Please let me know if you need anything additional from me.
Thank you!

La rry,
On page 6 of the submittal (page 7 of the pdf) under the stormwater management plan it describes low flow/high flow
barrel. If there are no low/high barrels, then the benches will be needed to keep the stream from being severely over
widened.
As far as the scoping, Polly has been gone for 4 years and if someone has scoping comments they can present them, but
as it stands right now I am going to issue a hold letter.
I appreciate the quick response.
Thanks,
Donna

Donna,
Not sure what to say about this one. It was designed without a low flow channel — both barrels to remain
unobstructed. This would have been discussed in the field review with Polly when it was originally scoped. Did Polly
leave any of her scoping notes for the 17BP projects?
I am cc'ing Garland in on this as well. We may have agency comments from the scoping meetings, if not, STV should
have them if we don't.

La rry,
I am glad—I have bad news about this one--
There are no benches on this one (maybe I missed it?), no permanent impacts on this one for benches (all impacts
outside of the culvert are marked as temp)----
It is designed with a low flow channel, so there need to be benches and perm. Impacts.
How fast can they submit changes?
Thanks,
Donna

Hi Larry,
This is how I will issue it. Thanks for the follow up. There may be a few questions on the other permits, I will be looking
to get those out today and tomorrow.
Thanks,
Donna

Good Morning Donna,
After checking the file for 17BP.10.R.66 (Bridge 152), I can tell you that this was the intent:
48 LF of impacts for the culvert
74 LF of impacts for the floodplain benches
131 LF of dewatering (dewatering entire length of the site)
So, the total length of impacts is 131 LF. 122 LF are permanent and 9 LF is temporary.

La rry,
On the impact table there are 122 feet of permanent impacts listed and 131 feet of temporary impacts listed. Are the
temporary impacts outside the footprint of the permanent impacts? From the binging of the impacts-253 feet of total
impact?
Thank You,
Donna
