Subject:LaGrange Ph1 Monitoring Rprt Comments
Hey Jeff,
I received the La Grange Phase I Monitoring Report (Year 4) on November 15, 2016 and have finalized my review. My
comments are as follows:
Overall, site conditions appear to look great and vegetation data results show stem densities higher than 320
stems/acre throughout the entire site.
Upon review of Table 5 for stem heights in the plots, it appears that trees grew anywhere from 8 feet (2.0
meters) to 35 feet (15 meters) since last year. I feel surely that this data is incorrect, as it is virtually impossible
for trees to grow 35’ in just one year. Please provide a response to this comment as to why the data represents
exponentially higher stem heights than from last year, and provide a revised Table 5 that indicates the correct
stem heights.
Upon receiving a complete response to Item #2 above, DWR will release 10% of the credits for this Bank.
Thank you,
Katie
