I believe that part has been rip wrapped as well. There is also DOT fence between the edge of the proposed easement and that portion of the stream. So it should not be impacted or effected. FYI David Bailey called and asked if the impacts at stream 4 " I think" could be reduced. That is where the stream flows through an area they had identified for a lay down area. I did not think they would impact that part of the stream anyways, but I included it in the impact totals just to be safe. I confirmed that they would not, so I will send you and David a revised drawing/impact table on Monday. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving. And I'll be in touch next week. Is this an accurate presentation and if so, is it feasible for them to install the line and not disturb the portion of S6 that is running parallel to the installation? This has been problematic in other utility installations when trenching is done so close to the top of the bank of a parallel channel. > > > Thanks, > > Sue Homewood > Division of Water Resources, Winston Salem Regional Office Department > of Environmental Quality > > 336 776 9693 office > 336 813 1863 mobile > Sue.Homewood@ncdenr.gov > > 450 W.
