Property size (acres): 1.77 ac

• Lake/ river/ ocean adjacent to property: Lake James
Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline
has been avoided, or why it is necessary): a 4 ft high concrete wall was built
approximately 50 years ago. The wall is failing and I wish to rip rap in front of
the wall to the top of the wall. The top of the wall is set at full pond elevation.
• Will work be conducted from land? yes From water?
• Total amount of disturbance (including all excavation, backfill, rip rap, retaining
walls, etc.) below the normal pool lake level/ Normal Water Level in square feet
or acres: There will be no disturbance since there is a flat
grassy lawn behind the wall. I assume the slope of the rip rap will be its normal
angle of repose. No excavation is necessary.
11. Total amount of disturbance (including all clearing, back fill, excavation, rip rap,
retaining walls, etc.) above the normal pool lake level/ Normal Water Level and
50 feet land -ward in square feet or acres: There wil be no disturbance nor
clearing nor backfill
12. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ Normal Water
Level and 50 feet landward to be impacted (number of trees, for instance):
The vegetation is a flat grassy lawn
