Please find attached our letter responding to NCDWR’s October 24 Request for Additional Information (RAI)
concerning Duke Energy’s September 9, 2016 Application for Amendment to the Catawba-Wateree Project
401 Water Quality Certification (#3767). Additionally, I have attached a revised copy of the Application
(through the Attachment A coversheet), containing the several corrected typographical errors noted in the
RAI. Karen, I am also putting these two documents in the mail to you tomorrow, which you should receive by
Monday.

Please advise at your earliest convenience if the provided information requires further clarification.
