Comment: A linear wetland/stream feature was lined with fabric and riprap for a lenqth of 190 feet. The area was not
to be disturbed durinp construction. However, crews felt it needed to be stabilzed to support road
wideninq and did not know it was a iurisdictional feature. We (DWR and Corps) aqreed to allow DOT to
remove the riprap and return feature to a functioninq stream and revisit next vear prior to pavinq.
