Per the requirements of GC 3705, this project is subject to Stormwater
Management Plan (SMP) Requirements for Applicants Other Than the North
Carolina Department of Transportation, which requires an SMP for any drainage
area that exceeds 24 percent impervious (for more information, see
http:i/h2o.enr.state.nc.us/'ncwctlands/). Per NCAC 2B 15A: 02H.1000, a drainage
area is defined as "the entire area contributing surface runoff to a single point."
Based on the proposed size of the lots and the footprint of the roads in this
subdivision, the DWQ has determined that the drainage areas in this project
exceed 24 percent impervious.
