Karen,
Chris Bailey has provided Jim Gregson with drawings depicting a draft revision to his proposed project near Wrightsville
Beach. (Drawing 6A of 9 shows the latest proposed plan.) We understand that the revision is being reviewed by DWR for
comment and input prior to our submittal of the requested response to DWR, due today. The revision removes the
entire dredging area, eliminates the floating dock fingers which were closest to the shoreline, and relocates a proposed
gazebo to a position offshore. The revision also includes a "detachment point" where the floating T' can be
disconnected quickly to allow for any direct vertical access to the NEI in that location. To allow time for DWR input and
formulating our response, we would like to request a two week extension of our response deadline. Please reply to this
request as soon as possible. Thank you for your assistance.
