Project Description —
NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge #198 which is currently a 3 span 51' x 20' bridge with a 2 span 90' x
25' bridge over UT to Bear Swamp. The proposed stormwater runoff from the proposed bridge has been
conveyed to a storm drainage system that outlets outside of the buffers and then provides treatment of
the stormwater via a small grass swale. There are 2437 square feet of impacts to Buffer zone 1 and 790
square feet of impacts in Zone 2 that will be associated with this project.
