Enclosed are the results of our First Semi-Annual Storm Water Discharge Outfall
Monitoring Report of 2016.
The lab who conducted the sample analysis, Pace Analytical, was unable to
obtain a pH reading from our samples this test period. I contacted Mr. James
Moore at the Mooresville Regional Office and he directed me to proceed with the
June 16, 2016 submittal as long as when we had our next rain event we gather a
, pH sample from all outfalls and submit the data at that time.
I have collected stormwater from all outfalls except SDO-1 which had no flow
during this rain event. I tested the pH of each sample using a Scientific
Instruments model no. IQ125 pH meter which was properly- calibrated before
each individual reading. We are within the allowable range for pH on all outfalls.

1 Monthly sampling(instead of semi-annual) must begin with the second consecutive benchmark exceedance for the same parambter, at the same outfall.

Facilities that incorporate a solvent management plan into the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan may so certify,and the requ rement for TTO monitoring
may be waived. The solvent management plan shall include a list of the total toxic organic compounds used and the other elemet s listed in the General
Permit. For those facilities electing to employ the TTO monitoring waiver,the discharger shall sign the following certification statement:
"Based upon my inquiry of the person or persons directly responsible for managinglcompliance with the permit monitoring requiremTnt for total toxic organics
(TTO), I certify that to the best of my knowledge and belief, no dumping of concentrated toxic organics into the stormwater or areas rich are exposed to rainfall or
stormwater runoff has occurred since filing the last discharge monitoring report. I further certify that this facility is implementing the'all the provisions of the
solvent management plan included in the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan."
