Millbrook Rd., Ste. 121 Raleigh, NC 27609 Subject: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Richmond Road Tract Dear Mr. Brouillard: On September 30, 2016, the Division of Water Resources (Divisiop) received your application dated September 27, 2016 requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division for your project. The Division has determined that your application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on-hold until the following information is received: 1. A complete review of the project cannot be conducted until the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has verified all stream, wetland, and/or open water locations for the project. The Corps of Engineers must also verify the Nationwide Permit used to authorize this project. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(a)(7)] 2. Provide the project location and delineate the project boundaries on the most recent USGS 1:24,000 topographic map and published county soil survey. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(b)] 3. The impervious surface of the project must include proposed houses, driveways, and sidewalks in addition to the road network. The site plan should include all the components of the project not just a close up of the road impact. [15A NCAC 02H .0506(b)(5) and (c)(5)] 4. The site plan needs to depict topographic contours for the entire project not just the road. The stream is currently depicted as a line, but it should be shown as having dimension with the buffers measured from each streambank. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(b)] Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(c), the applicant shall furnish all of the above requested information for the proper consideration of the application. If all of the requested information is not received in writing within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter, the Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be returned. The return of this project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application package and the appropriate fee. Please respond in writing within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter by sending four copies of all of the above requested information to the 401 & Buffer Permitting Unit, 1617 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1617. Please be aware that you have no authorization under the Water Quality Certification Rules for this activity.
