To Whom It May Concern:
In accordance with the Tier Two monitoring requirements located in Part II(B) of
General NPDES Permit(NCG120000),please find enclosed one original and one
copy of June 2016 discharge monitoring reports (DMR) for stormwater discharge
outfalls (SDO-2 and SDO-3). SDO-2 and SDO-3 became subject to the Tier Two
monitoring requirements following two consecutive Total Suspended Solids
(TSS) detections above the benchmark value (100 mg/L)which occurred on June
30, 2015 and November 2, 2015. Therefore, SDO-2 and SDO-3 are in the process
of being monitored monthly for all of the stormwater parameters until three
consecutive monthly sampling results are below the benchmark values.
According to the site manager, no discharge occurred at SDO-2 and SDO-3
during the month of June 2016. The site will attempt to collect a monthly sample
during the next discharge producing rain event.
