The seedlings that you noted onsite were left over dead seedlings that dried out prior to planting and were placed onsite
for wildlife habitat. If you have further questions, just let me know.

Virginia Baker and Donna Hood, with NCDENR, were out on the I40/I77 mitigation/reforestation site today. She just
texted me this photo and comment. I told her I would check into this. As I was not on site when the reforestation
occurred, thought you guys might have been out to the site and could shed some light on this.
