Please continue with the emergency dredging in the Wanchese Harbor Entrance as described in the public notice.
Our agency concurs with comments from NMFS. Since the work will be conducted during the sea turtle moratorium and
green sea turtles have had recent interactions with gillnets in the Pamlico Sound, NCWRC would prefer an observer be
on the vessel during operations.
