I’ve been at home with a sick kid for the last two days. I’m around all day today if you want to give me a call (707-8792) to discuss the Troy bypass. Thanks, Brian Wrenn 919-707-8792 From: Merritt, John S Sent: Monday, May 02, 2016 4:43 PM To: Wrenn, Brian L <brian.wrenn@ncdenr.gov> Subject: R-0623 Troy Bypass Brian, NCDOT has planned a modification to R-0623 Troy Bypass. Below in italics is a note I received with the attached roadway plans briefly stating the change. Hydraulic impacts should be in early next week. We all share one thing in common with this project I think, its new to us. This is a very high priority, yet I understand the issues with the timing on a “mod” like this for a merger project. The change will add one stream crossing and one culvert extension. The attached plans have these spots marked. I did the field investigation and performed endangered species surveys last fall and that was a ‘no effect’. I will be in touch on Monday. The project design for R-623 has been revised. In coordination with the Division, the synchronized street design at the intersection of the NC 24/27 Bypass (-L-) and Troy Candor Road (-Y8REV-) has been replaced with a grade separation with quadrant movements.
