For the level spreader at the back of Lot 7, the filter strip is too steep to allow for
diffuse flow. Please either relocate the level spreader to a location where the filter
strip slope is appropriate for level spreaders or provide a BMP that removes a
minimum of 85 percent TSS and 30 percent TN from the stormwater generated by
this drainage area. For each proposed BMP, please provide a completed BMP
Supplement Form, with all the required items. The BMP Supplement Forms are
available at: http://l12o.eni-.state.nc.us/su/bmp forms.htm. Please include both the
Design Summary and the Required Items Checklist
along with all the required items listed therein.
2. Appropriate diffuse flow measures have not been provided for the following
discharge points: FES-13. the v-ditch between lots 31 and 32, and the road
drainage from Cloverleaf Court that is directed to FES-3, FES-5 and FES-6. Per
the requirements of the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule, all stormwater drainage from
this site must be discharged through a correctly designed level spreader. Level
spreader design requirements are set forth in Chapter 8 of the North Carolina
Stormwater BMP Manual, available at:
http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/su/'bmp forms.htm. Please provide one complete Level
Spreader Supplement Form for each proposed level spreader.
