One thing I forgot to mention is that NCDOT sends out a list of low-impact bridges each year for scoping, so I
have an opportunity to provide comments at that time. I generally only provide comments on those that might
potentially have T&E issues.

Brian,

Unless there is an unresolved T&E species issue, then I don't normally need to see them. Sometimes the Corps
will ask for comments if the bridge is being replaced with a culvert; but if the culvert has similar dimensions to
the small bridge being replaced, I rarely object.
