I’ll get this out shortly. Below is the answer to the question you had about the sewer line. It’s outside the ROW and definitely outside the culvert and wing walls, so it won’t be in conflict with the culvert installation. I hope this answers your questions. Let me know if you need anything else. We are not relocating the sewer line, it is outside of the proposed culvert. Did you need any input on the BR 270 questions? The proposed DI and outlet pipe are connecting to an existing pipe system and outletting it around the proposed wing wall. It is not a new conveyance. So it should be fine to remain in place. Thanks. Brandon W. Johnson, PE Project Engineer Infrastructure Engineering 100 E. I highlighted a section of Brian’s email (he’s our new DWR agent) with a question about Bridge 207 in Alamance County. Can you help me out and shed some light on this? Thanks! Nik From: Wrenn, Brian L Sent: Friday, May 20, 2016 8:56 AM To: Nicole Thomson <nthomson@sepiengineering.com> Cc: Patton, Vance H <vhpatton@ncdot.gov>; Cail, William G <gcail@ncdot.gov>; David.E.Bailey2@usace.army.mil Subject: Bridge Nos. 207 and 270 Alamance Nikki, I visited Bridge Nos. 207 and 270 in Alamance yesterday. I have a couple of questions: 207 -On the upstream side, there is a large sewer line. It looks like it is about where the new culvert inlet will be located. I assume this will be relocated but I didn’t see anything on the plans. If it is to be relocated, will any impacts (perm or temp) occur as part of the relocation? 270 -In the NW quadrant of the crossing, a drop inlet with a conveyance and rip rap pad at the stream bank is proposed. It doesn’t appear that there is any stormwater treatment prior to entering the drop inlet. Unless I’m misreading what’s proposed, this would be considered a new stormwater conveyance through the buffer without treatment which is allowable with mitigation. The application doesn’t propose any buffer mitigation. Can you give me some more details on this? -I’m okay with the proposed ditch improvements in the SW quadrant of the crossing. Thanks! Brian L.
