Rajit,

Thank you for the meeting summary. My only comment is that, while the USACE did inquire about the possibility of
eliminating either Alternative 2 or 3, the USACE did not recommend elimination of one over the other. Rather NCDOT
discussed which of these 2 alternatives should be eliminated. Once presented with eliminating Alternative 3 (Traditional
Diamond Interchange) from further study, the USACE agreed to it.

This is a subtle differentiation, but important to the process. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions.
