I can understand losses during rain events where 2+” of rain fall in a short period of time, but 0.5” rainfall events shouldn’t be causing sediment loss of 3CY. I’d like to have a meeting on site with you, Jason Crissman, Barry, and Andy to discuss what needs to be done to minimize sediment loss at this site. Dates I have available over the next 3 weeks: 8/9 and 11 (afternoon only) 8/12, 15, 19 8/22 (morning only) 8/26 Please let me know what works best for you. Thanks, Brian Wrenn 919-707-8792 From: King, Art C Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2016 4:39 PM To: 'Andrew.E.Williams2@usace.army.mil' <Andrew.E.Williams2@usace.army.mil>; Wrenn, Brian L <brian.wrenn@ncdenr.gov> Cc: Harrington, Barry W. <bwharrington@dot.state.nc.us>; Chapin, Hiram T <tchapin@ncdot.gov> Subject: R-3421C silt loss FYI Silt loss R-3421C (Site 9) SR2 station 88+10 Project received a .50" of rainfall over night.
