Please let me know if you hear anything from your project inspectors. If they report any problems, I will come down and take a look. Andy and I will coordinate on a date that works best for everyone and let you know on the ride throughs. The dates I still have free on the calendar this month are: 9, 10, 13, 15, 16, 20, 14, 17, 18, and 30. If we have had any sediment losses from the weekend rains, I would normally hear from the project inspectors around mid-morning after they have had a chance to do their site surveys. Our two active “big” projects; the Troy bypass (R- 0623) and the I-73/74 project (R-3421 C) are both at relatively stable points of construction right now. If you are coming on Tuesday we can arrange for the inspectors to show you around those projects two if you like. They are close to each other and wouldn’t require much time to look at both. Just let me know your plans. Thanks, Art From: Wrenn, Brian L Sent: Monday, June 06, 2016 7:54 AM 1 To: King, Art C; 'andrew.e.williams2@usace.army.mil' Subject: Heavy rains over the weekend Art, I heard a lot of localized storms came through Div. 8 over the weekend. Have you heard of any problems with sediment releases? I’d like to come down on Tuesday to ride around any problem sites if possible. Also, I’m not up to speed on what’s happening in Div. 8 from a construction standpoint. I think it would be a good idea to do some ride through on some of the major construction projects that are underway. The ride throughs wouldn’t need to be super detailed; I’m just trying to get a grasp on what’s happening in your area. I’ve got several days in June that are free. Please let me know what days you have available to do this. Andy, You may already be up to speed on what’s happening in Div. 8 and may not want to come along, but I wanted to make sure you are in the loop. Thanks! Brian L.
