Cherri,
The stream proposed for impacts, is barely intermittent, and not in good shape at all. I let the consultant know that I
would not require mitigation for impacts to that section of channel proposed for impacts. The storm water pond would
probably help the nicer looking downstream section that flows off property by retaining some of that storm water flow.

Hi James,
I'm just checking with you to see if you'd had a chance to look at the application for Holding Corners in Wake Forest. I'm
having some trouble understanding it because they're proposing 190 feet of stream impact for a stormwater pond, and
we typically don't see in-line stormwater ponds anymore. In addition, no mitigation is proposed. Also, from talking with
Stephanie in this office about the buffer determination, it looks like they have the wrong stream buffered. In any case, if
there's anything you could let me know about this property, I'd appreciate it. I would give you a call, but our phones are
out today. Thanks for any of your insight.
