Dear Mr. McMillan,
On July 11, 2006, your office approved a request for extension of the EEP mitigation payment due
date for Whispering Pines Subdivision. At that time we had not received the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineer's (USACE) 404 Permit required by the EEP for release of a payment invoice. Although we have
been informed by the USACE that the permit is forthcoming, we have yet to receive the permit. We would
again like to request a 30-day extension to the NC EEP compensatory mitigation payment period while we
wait for the USACE 404 Permit.
Additionally, the spelling of Mr. Rick Grote's name is incorrect in your records for this particular project.
The correct spelling is Grote, not Groate.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions regarding this matter. The USACE
representative for this project is Mr. Eric Alsmeyer of the USACE Raleigh Regulatory Field Office
