APPROVAL OF LEVEL SPREADER DESIGN
Dear Mr. Fulghum:
On April 30, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received a Stormwater Management
Permit Application Package dated April 21, 2008 with subsequent revision received via email on
May 15, 2008 from Mr. Richard Callahan of Site Solutions, Charlotte, North Carolina for the subject
project in Edgecombe County.
DWQ has reviewed the grassed Swale and level spreader design information along with the
Operation and Maintenance Agreement signed and notarized on April 21, 2008. The DWQ approves
of these devices to satisfy the diffuse flow provisions required by the Tar - Pamlico Buffer Rules
under 15A NCAC 0213.0259. These structural stormwater practices as approved by DWQ as well
as the drainage patterns must be maintained in perpetuity. No changes shall be made without
written authorization from the DWQ.
This letter completes the review by the DWQ under the Tar - Pamlico Buffer Rules. If you have
