Dear Dr. Thorpe:
The purpose of this letter is to respond to your request to rescind the 401 Water Quality Certification
(WQC) issued for the referenced project. On April 15, 2008, we received your request to rescind the 401
WQC based on project design changes. As of the date of this letter, the 401 WQC for the referenced
project is hereby rescinded. No impacts to jurisdictional resources covered under Section 401 of the
Clean Water Act are allowed for this project until a new application is received and approved by this
office.
