Some things I've seen in briefly looking at this "application".
1. Owner name and info. The owner also has to be the one to sign the application.
2. Wet pond needs to be a constructed wetland. Annette will cover that I'm sure.
3. Need a revised mitigation plan. Saying they'll restore up to 100' on the other feature onsite is
unacceptable. They know this from the sit down meeting, but we need revised verbiage for the WQC if
possible since it's in their application that they're proposing to do this (under part 3 of their written
info).
4. Diffuse flow? One of the rectangles at the outlet may be a level spreader. Can't tell. No detail sheet
on it.
5. Wrong citation for the Randleman rule in "part 2 demonstration of need". They also talk about the
100 foot buffer which is NA in this case.
6. They need to enumerate the buffer square footage of impact (Zone 1 and Zone 2).
7. They need to revise their impact table to show the pond impact as a stream and buffer impact.
8. I probably just missed this, but I didn't see where they were discussing draining the pond and
immediately filling it in.
9. They need to show Zone 1 & Zone 2 on the plan sheets.
10. They need to have a scale of no smaller than 1 "=50' on all plan sheets.
11. For the submittal package, they'll need to include your stream call letter and map.
That's all I saw so far.
