Thanks,
Here are the Lake Royale Sites I went to. Lot C 1399 - DWQ08-0464 - Shoreline looks
stable to me. Grass in place.
Lot 1733R - DWQ08-0481 - Bulk head will not line the entire bank. Main reason is to
save a large pine. Go ahead.
Lot 2814R - DWQ08-0463 - Wooded a good distance to the lake. Shoreline is stable.
Will have to remove quite a few trees to access the lake. I don't know if that much
bulk head is necessary to help stabilize the boathouse and dock. If so then I guess
they should go for it.
DWQ08-0467 - House has just been built on this lot. The shoreline isn't eroding
but it appears that erosion has occurred because of construction of the house. This
is the lot that has a buffer violation. It doesn't appear that they have cleared
any trees but the understory is gone and they have laid sod up to the lake edge.
Let me know what you want me to do. I told them that they needed to let the grass
grow and not disturb the first 30 feet of the buffer. Almost everyone has a yard
right up to the lake. There is no way we can keep up with all the violations out
there.
