Re: Camp Lake James Bio-stabilization Project - requesting feedback
Dear Ms. Karoly:
I am writing to follow-up on the Camp Lake James Bio-stabilization Project plans
I sent on February 22, 2008. The plans identified two areas along the shoreline
of Lake James in McDowell County, North Carolina that are experiencing erosion
due to wave and wind action.
As part of a FERC requirement I requested the plans to be reviewed and
feedback to be provided within 30 days in order to ensure the appropriate
methods and measures were being used for this bio-stabilization project. As
your response is very important to the success of this project; could you please
review the plans and provide any feedback within the next 15 days? If I do not
receive a response in the next 15 days I will assume your agency is comfortable
with the proposed plan and work will commence.
