This response letter and the enclosures are being submitted on behalf of The Cliffs
Communities for the High Carolina project in response to the additional information
request letter dated March 12, 2008 received from your office.
Request For More Information, March 12, 2008:
Additional Information Requested:
1. For the DWQ to consider this project a 'separate and complete "'project you
w111 need to bridge all the crossings and apply for the impacts that facilitate
the dam improvements only. Please note, bottomless culverts require
approval from the DWQ or IVCDOT if they will ultimately assume maintenance
of the culvert. Alternatively, you may submit your proposed impacts for
Phase 1 of your project and conceptual impacts for the remaining phases
through built-out.
Response: The Cliffs Communities would like to proceed with permitting
Phase 1 of High Carolina which includes two road crossings and dam
upgrades. Enclosed are five copies of the conceptual master plan and five
copies of the conceptual impact table for the remainder of the High
Carolina project.
