REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION
Ladies & Gentlemen:
On August 20, 2005, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your Pre-Construction Notification
(PCN) application dated August 5, 2005, to impact 0.01 acres of wetlands and 401inear feet of streams to
construct the proposed residential subdivision. The DWQ returned your application to you on August 29,
2005, because you had not indicated which permit you were requesting. On September 6, 2005, the
DWQ received your revised PCN application. The DWQ has determined that your application was
incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional
information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands andlor streams on the
subject property. Therefore, unless we receive the additional information requested below, we will have
to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project
on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following
information so that we may continue to review your project.
Additional Information Requested:
1. In March 2005, a revised Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) application was released. This
new PCN application requires a breakdown of impervious surfaces if you are proposing 20
percent or greater imperviousness. Please provide a breakdown of impervious surfaces, this
includes roads, sidewalks, footprints of houses, driveways, decks, etc.
2. Please identify the locations of the proposed stream impacts.
3. Please submit apre-development map that depicts all jurisdictional wetlands. This area should be
identified by some type of shading.
4. Please identify property boundaries on a USGS topographic map.
Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending this information to me in writing
and Eric Kulz of the DWQ Raleigh Regional Office. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we
will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn.
