I wanted to confirm our Field Review for Elizabeth Brady Road (U-3808) for Wednesday January 18 at
1:00. We will meet on Riverside Drive, off of US 70 .Bypass at 1:00. The north side of the Eno River has
the largest floodplain area and appears to be the best location to see both sides of the river. If necessary,
we can go around to Poplar Lane to access the south side of the river. Following the review for the bridge
crossing for Alternative 4, we will also look at the area around the NASCAR track and Ayr Mount in
preparation for the upcoming Section 106 Affects Determination meeting the end of this month. This is a
separate meeting from the Merger 2A review and will involve Sarah McBride, Vanessa Patrick, Rob Ayres
and/or Felix Davila. Others are welcome.
We have two options for those who would prefer not driving quite as far. If enough people would like to
carpool, I will rent a twelve passenger van and we can meet at the Parsons Brinckerhoff office on Aviation
Parkway in Morrisville and carpool. If there are not enough people to fill the van, we can take our
company Ford Explorer and another vehicle and carpool. Anyone wishing to carpool or caravan
please let me know by Monday. Please be aware that I will be staying for the Section 106 discussions
so we may be at the site for an additional hour (give or take). I will leave my office at 12:00 sharp on
Wednesday.
Attached is a map of the project area showing Riverside Drive and a map showing the location of our
office.
