Re: EasternNC Natural Gas Company Phase 2 Close-out
Enclosed is the closeout form for our Phase 2 pipeline project. Mr. Donald K. Davis was the original
permittee for EasternNC on Phase 2, because Phase 2 was submitted when EasternNC was still
owned by Progress Energy. However, as of October 2003, Piedmont Natural Gas Company owns
EasternNC, and Mr. Davis (who is still a Progress Energy employee) no longer has any dealings with
EasternNC.
Mr. John M. Monaghan, Jr., who is the permittee on all of EasternNC's applications since Phase 3A,
has signed for Mr. Davis. I hope this is acceptable to you. Please call me if you have any questions.
