We do not object to the permit issuance for this project. Significant trout resources are not expected, therefore we are
not requesting a trout moratorium. Some Federal Species of Concern and State-listed aquatic species occur in Mills River
nearby and downstream in the French Broad River. Stringent, effective sediment and erosion control measure should be
installed and kept well-maintained.
