The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has begun the planning, environmental,
and engineering studies for the above-referenced bridge replacement projects. It is anticipated that
the projects will include replacement of the existing bridge with a bridge.
The NCDOT would appreciate any information you might have that would be helpful in evaluating
potential environmental impacts of the projects. A vicinity map for each bridge replacement project
is attached.
Please note that there will be no formal interagency meeting for these projects. It is desirable that
your agency respond by December 16, 2016 concerning any beneficial or adverse impacts of the
proposed projects.
