Additional Information for 401 Water Quality Certification Application
Dear Chad:
I have enclosed a revised site plan for Lot 26 located within the Helms Port subdivision in
Wilmington, NC. The revisions are based on comments received from John Policarpo of the USACE
and an on-site meeting between John, the lot owner (Mr. Eric Barbee) and me on 9/8/16. Mr.
Barbee agreed to reduce impacts by moving the house closer to the road and eliminating the
detached garage. Mr. Policarpo agreed to a 15' wide crossing of the second wetland finger to allow
access to uplands in the rear of the lot. It was also noted during the meeting that the wetland tips
shown on an adjacent lot on the original site plan no longer exist and John requested they be
removed from impact acreages. These changes have reduced proposed wetland impacts to 0.084
acre.
Enclosed are the revised site plan and page 4 of the PCN form. Please let me know if you have any
