D Subject Property: Pace Tract MAR 2 7 2008 Ut to Big Arm Creek [030402, 27-38-1, C, NSW] DENR -'4IAIER C1UAUTY REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION %STLANDS AND STORmWATER BRANCH Dear Mr. Pace: On January 30, 2008, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated January 29, 2008 to impact 0.2 acres of 404/wetland, 139 linear feet of perennial stream and 9,642 square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffer, and 3,113 square feet of Zone 2 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffer to construct the proposed residential subdivisio at the site. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless we receive five copies of the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1. Please provide the following items as called for on the Required Items Checklists for the Level Spreaders: a. The calculations of to and I for each level spreader. b. The boundaries of the drainage easements for the level spreaders. c. A depiction of the entire drainage area for each level spreader. d. A final (not preliminary) site plan. 2. Please address the following issues on Sheet 5 of 6: a. The roadway drainage system must be shown. b. Proposed topo lines (with roadway fill) must be shown. c. Re-orient plan so that it is consistent with Sheet 7 of 8. d. The rip rap apron appears to be oversized, e. Level spreader number 1 must be relocated so that it is .not upslope of the rip rap apron. f. Level spreader number 2 is directing stormwater toward the fill slope associated with Street "A." Please address the following issue on Sheet 8 of 8: The level spreader detail shows a bypass channel even though it is not proposed to be included in the design. Please submit this information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter. If we do not receive this requested information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter, your project will be withdrawn and you will need to reapply with a new application and a new fee. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
