GEORGE McINTYRE P.E. AM WRITING THIS LETTER TO ADDRESS THE
TOWN OF KNIGHTDALE AND NCDOT REQUIREMENTS FOR CROSSING THE
ONE STREAM BUFFER AT RUTLEDGE LANDING. THIS CROSSING WAS
REQUIRED BY BOTH PARTIES IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A RESIDENTIAL
COLLECTOR STREET FOR SERVING THE 150+/- HOMES ACROSS THE
STREAM. THE EXISTING STREETS IN THE EXISTING SUBDIVISION TO THE
NORTH WERE NOT SUFFICIENTLY DESIGNED TO HANDLE THE TRAFFIC
FLOW FROM THE 150+/- LOTS.
