RE: Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Compan
Stormwater Permit Number , SO00040
Sampling Timeframe: February 2016-July 2016 (Year 7,Period 2)
Charlotte Pipe and Foundry (Charlotte Pipe) is sending this letter to
NCDENR in regard to sampling requirements for Year 7,Period 2 of
Stormwater Permit Number NCD000040.
Unfortunately for the February 2016-July 2016 timeframe, URS, our
contractor, was unable to collect the comprehensive round of
stormwater samples from the permitted and upgradient outfalls. Per
URS,weather events either occurred in short timeframes that did not
allow time for the comprehensive site-wide sampling, occurred outside
reasonable working hours, or did not qualify due to the 72 hour time
lapse required between rain events.
URS is scheduled to perform the comprehensive monitoring for the
next qualifying rain event and we will submit the appropriate
paperwork to DWQ in a timely manner.
Please see attached the monthly new motor oil usage.
Please contact Jenny Pappalardo at(704) 348-5513 or David Waggoner at
(704) 348-5408 if you have any questions or need any additional information.
Sincerely,
f ✓ L' z
