SITE INFORMATION IS BASED ON SURVEY WORK DONE BY MATRIX EAST, PLLC DATED OCTOBER 1, 2010 WITH THE VERTICAL DATA (TOPOGRAPHY) PROVIDED BY TUCK MAPPING SOLUTIONS USING AIRBORNE LIDAR (DATA WAS COLLECTED ON MAY 14, 2010 AND MARCH 10,2012) -VERTICAL COORDINATES ARE BASED ON NAVD 1988. AS -BUILT LIDAR COLLECTED JULY 02,2014 2. USERS OF THESE PLANS ARE CAUTIONED THAT THE VERTICAL INFORMATION SHOWN ON THESE PLANS IS LIMITED TO THE ACCURACY OF THE LIDAR METHODOLOGY EMPLOYED AND SPECIFICALLY THAT LOWEST ELEVATIONS INSIDE DITCHES OR OTHER AREAS OF STANDING WATER MAY NOT REPRESENT THE BOTTOM OF THE DITCHES (OR LOW-LYING AREAS) BUT INSTEAD REFER TO THE WATER SURFACE ELEVATION ON THE DATE OF THE LIDAR WORK. THE ENGINEER SHALL MAKE CHANGES TO THE EXISTING DESIGN, AS NECESSARY, AND PROVIDE THE CONTRACTOR WITH ANY UPDATED PLANS AS NECESSARY. 3. CONTRACTOR'S FIRST ORDER OF WORK IS TO PLACE ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES (SEE EROSION CONTROL PLAN). 4, CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONFORMANCE TO ALL REQUIREMENTS OF REGULATORY AGENCIES. 5. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REQUIRED TO MAKE MINOR GRADING CHANGES TO THE PROPOSED PERIMETER CONSTRUCTION AT THE REQUEST OF JONATHAN T. RICKETTS, INC. 5. AT THE COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION, CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE ANY SAND IN EXISTING DRAINAGE STRUCTURES AND PIPES LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT. 7. ALL CLEARING DEBRIS WILL BE LEFT IN PLACE IN OPEN FIELDS. MAXIMUM DIAMETER OF PILES SHALL BE 50', MAXIMUM HEIGHT SHALL BE 16'. S. FOLLOWING DITCH FILLING FOR THOSE DITCHES SHOWN TO BE FILLED, COMPACTION WILL CONSIST OF 3 PASSES WITH A D-4 DOZER OR EQUIVALENT, LEAVING 12" OF LOOSE COMPACTION OF THE TOP OF THE FILL. PROPOSED GRADES SHOWN FOR THESE AREAS SHALL REFER TO THE TOP OF THE UNCOMPACTED FILL. 9. FOLLOWING COMPLETION OF FILL FOR EMBANKMENT, BERM ROADWAY SUBGRADE, SPILLWAYS, AND PARKING SPACES, TESTING WILL BE REQUIRED FOR DENSITY SPECIFIED ON TYPICAL SECTIONS. 10. IF REQUIRED, DE -WATERING WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A PLAN PREPARED AND SUBMITTED TO THE ENGINEER AT LEAST ONE WEEK PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT ACTIVITIES. 11. FOLLOWING WIND STORM EVENTS THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RETURN ROADWAYS TO USABLE CONDITION WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THE END OF THE STORM EVENT. 12. STAKE OUT OF ALIGNMENT AND GRADE FOR CONSTRUCTION WILL BE PROVIDED BY ENGINEER'S SURVEYOR. ALL RE -STAKING OF CONTROL POINTS WILL BE AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE. 13. MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC ON ALL ADJACENT PUBLIC ROADS WILL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. 14. PLACEMENT OF TEMPORARY SILT FENCES, DITCH BLOCKS, AND CHECK DAMS WILL BE INSTALLED BASED ON PERMIT DRAWINGS APPROVED BY NORTH CAROLINA DENR OR THE U. S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS. ALL PERMITS MUST BE POSTED ON THE JOB SITE FOR REVIEW BY THE APPROPRIATE INSPECTION PERSONNEL. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE ENCLOSURE WHICH PROVIDES FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE POSTED PERMITS AND NOTICES AND WILL BE RESPOSIBLE FOR ALL WEEKLY MONITORING. 15. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PREPARE A SEQUENCE OF WORK PLAN FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY THE ENGINEER ONE WEEK PRIOR TO COMMENCEMENT OF EACH PHASE OF PROJECT. 16. THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE APPROVED EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN WHICH WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO, PLANS FOR AVOIDANCE OF FUEL AND HYDRAULIC OIL SPILLS ON THE SITE. 17. ALL DISTURBED AREAS SHALL BE RESTORED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH REQUIREMENTS OF THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL (ESC) PERMITS. 18. AT THE BEGINNING OF WORK OF EACH ESC PERMIT THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM A SOIL ANALYSIS FOR EACH SOIL TYPE WITH A MINIMUM OF 2 SAMPLES: A PERIMETER BERM SOIL SAMPLE, AND A FIELD SAMPLE, THE ANALYSIS CAN BE PERFORMED BY NCDA & CS AGRONOMIC DIVISION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING A STABILIZED (VEGETATED) SITE PER THE REQUIREMENTS OF EACH ESC PERMIT. CONTRACTOR, AS PART OF HIS UNIT PRICE SHALL PROVIDE REWORK OF ANY AREA THAT DOES NOT SUPPORT VEGETATION IN DENSITIES AND TIME FRAMES SPECIFIED IN THE ESC PERMIT. 19. PROPOSED GRADES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO WITHIN PLUS OR MINUS 0.1ff ON OPEN AREAS AND BERMS AND 0.05' ON SPILLWAYS. 2D.
